  • adidas Originals X Palace Skateboards

The newest adidas Originals X Palace Skateboards collection launches tonight at midnight.

We see the most recent instalment from the two influential brands continuing on from the hugely successful previous collaborations.

After flirting with other sportswear main-stays such as Umbro and Reebok London skateboard power-house Palace Skateboards seem to have found their collaborative sportswear home with adidas Originals continuing the joint collection into the Summer season.

Its nice to see the collections taking on a theme, previously opting for a largely fleece dominated effort whilst now we see a holiday ready towelling fabrication adorn the archival influenced silhouettes.

The fine Navy coloured towelling is seen on the Towel Hat, Gymsack which features some cleanly executed tonal embroidery, the Towel Jacket that is truly Tony Soprano worthy and of course no towelling collection would be complete without, well, a towel...

The collection as a whole consists of a mix of Blue tones with White accents to add some contrast to the pieces and the recurring towelling fabrication makes an appearance on the 3-stripe branding. It truly wouldn't be an adidas Originals X Palace Skateboards collection without the inclusion of a full Black tracksuit just for good measure.

If you're not spending the summer in a tropic location then don't worry, adidas Originals and Palace have you covered with a hooded shell jacket that will keep you dry during the ever-approaching drizzly British Summer, which just happens to have the classic over-sized Palace Tri-Ferg graphic emblazoned on the back - at least you will look on trend when you're standing under a tree in the park staring at your increasingly water-filled Barbecue.

Rounding of the collection is two new colourways in the ever-popular Palace Pro silhouette, the easy to wear style that is perfect for the warmer season with multiple perforations and a comfy removable PU sock liner. The uppers are executed in pig suede which all the skate heads will be pleased to hear alongside a skate friendly vulcanized sole unit, the translucent gum sole is a nice touch on the Black/Orange colourway too.

The adidas Originals X Palace Skateboards collection launches online tonight at midnight and in-store from 9am tomorrow.

  • Palace Skateboards S/S '16

London skateboard powerhouse Palace Skateboards have come through with a strong collection of graphic T-shirts and hoodies as well as their usual high grade outerwear and a host of accessories that round off a solid start to Spring/Summer '16 for the ever-growing skateboard company.

It's rare that a company will keep evolving when achieving success season after season, however London's finest continue to prove that they're not messing about with 3 unique graphics featuring across the board on soft goods.

Cigarettes and Sports see referencing with the Tri-Smoke graphic putting a spin on the infamous triangle that has been synonymous with Palace from the outset, whilst the Roadrunner graphic features a playful take on vintage american sportswear logo's.

All bases are ticked with the ever progressive outerwear from the sportswear fanatic skate gang in the form of two jackets, the Park jacket which is executed to perfection is a lightweight shell jacket with low-key branding of just palace script on the left pocket in a contrast white print.

Next is the Reversible Thinsulate jacket which is.. you guessed it reversible. Featuring Thinsulate insulation to keep you warm on those winter skates and comes in a powerful Navy / Yellow combo.

A whole load of extremely good accessories including wool caps with oversized embroidery and beanies to match, the 7-panel cap that's become a Palace Skateboards staple and some choice colourways in the wardrobe essential 'P' sock.

The Palace Skateboards Spring/Summer collection will launch online tonight at midnight and in-store from 9am tomorrow.

  • Palace Clothing

Palace Skateboards was established in 2009 by Levent Tanju of the Palace Wayward Boys Choir and has fast established itself as the premium UK skateboard brand. With a skate team including Lucien Clarke, Charlie Young, Olly Todd, & Chewy Cannon alongside the artwork direction of Will Bankhead (of Mo'Wax fame) and Fergadellic (Silas & Tonite), this will come as no surprise to most.

Palace have just dropped a limited capsule collection of clothing before they launch a more comprehensive line for Spring and Palace have got it right again. Palace clothing production has been looked after by the same team that worked on Silas back in the day, and as with Palace skateboard graphics Palace t-shirt and sweatshirt graphics have been designed by two of London's finest skate creatives.

We're due to receive a couple more t-shirt designs over the next few days and are also carrying some secret limited edition pieces in store, so keep an eye on the site for new additions and come into the store and check out the specials.
