ferm LIVING was founded in 2005 as a small wallpaper company by Trine Andersen. In the following decade, the Danish brand would branch out and explore homeware, furniture & lamps to name a few. The Scandinavian aesthetic and clear functionality of their lifestyle products aim to inspire people to make their house a comfortable & happy place that they are more than content to live in. From their HQ in Copenhagen, ferm LIVING works with artisans and designers from all over the world to manufacture their contemporary products like the plant boxes and tableware that they are globally recognised for. The bird in the logo comes from when Trine saw a small bird confused not knowing where to fly and proceeded to visit a medium and from this, the sight was essential in what path Trine should take. When she then founded ferm LIVING, the little bird found out exactly where to go and now sits on top of the company logo.
