Trainerspotter
Trainerspotter was created by two sneaker enthusiast friends Russell Gater and Daniel Savory back in 2002. Dan was running a sneaker shop offering rare and hard to find shoes and Russel a fashion lecuturer at a university, with their mutual love for heritage sportswear and sneakers spawned Trainerspotter. The brands original graphic t-shirts featured the duo’s favourite and most obscure sneakers and references to the likes of Jeff Johnson (a designer of shoes such as the Tailwind, now seen as a cult footwear icon). Originally inspired heavily by vintage Nike clothing and footwear the brand is now seen creating cut and sew pieces designed to compliment even the most obscure of collectable and vintage footwear.
