adidas’ newest addition to the rider series, sees Mark Gonzales give his touch to the iconic Superstar, adding his personal creative mark for its 50th anniversary. The Gonz is a pioneer, unquestionably known as one of skateboarding’s most innovative and influential figures since hitting the cover of Thrasher in 1984. Sponsored by adidas Skateboarding, Spitfire, and Supreme he has also launched Krooked Skateboards in partnership with Deluxe.
The adidas Skateboarding Superstar ADV x Gonz is composed of a full grain 'Cloud White' leather upper, with the signature Gonz shmoo elevated on both sides, made of chalk nubuck, each with a different colour trim for added definition. The classic adidas Three Stripes have been replaced with perforations, reminiscent of the Stan Smith, giving the shoe a clean silhouette and making it breathable on and off the board.
Featuring an embossed full grain leather tongue, black heel moustache, flat white laces, and designed with a classic adidas ADV sole unit, the adidas Skateboarding Superstar ADV x Gonz has all the lightweight support and comfort you’d expect from an adidas Skateboarding ADV skate shoe. Finished off with a chalk-white sole and the instantly recognisable superstar shell toe.
