  • Fucking Awesome Skateboards Winter '17 Delivery

The Fucking Awesome Skateboards Winter '17 delivery of apparel and hardware is available in-store and online now.

Jason Dill's Fucking Awesome Skateboards imprint has grown from a side project to one of the most important new brands in skateboarding today. The graphics alone have a distinct and instantly recognisable aesthetic, riddled with abstract references and crude compositions - Dill is no self proclaimed artist though, “I don’t know much about anything, but I just know how to take things apart and put them back together until it fits or looks right".

Starting a skateboard company in an oversaturated market place can be tricky, but if theres anyone with a true original voice today is has to be Dill. Despite the incredible team and constant bombardment of quality product the man himself is still reserved about his position in a recent interview with 032c, “I never wanted my own company. A skateboard company. The government is still taking half of my paycheck because I fucked up my taxes for so long. I can’t even take care of myself, or my own company of myself. I thought having your own company would be nothing but a pain in the ass. And guess what? I was right. It’s constantly a pain in the ass. I’ll be out for dinner with my old lady, and I’ll be trying to concentrate on what she’s saying, but at the back of my mind I’m thinking: ‘Oh my god, how many of that did we make? Is it going to sell?’ All these little fucking catastrophes in your brain, and you hang out with anyone, and they just think you’re a weirdo. I’m not complaining about it. It is what it is".

With the endless list of companies out there it often becomes overwhelming trying to choose which ones you want to support, whatever you choose, Fucking Awesome Skateboards should be up there at the top of the list...

  • Alltimers Skateboards Winter 17 Collection

The Alltimers Skateboards Winter '17 collection is available in-store now.

Pryce Holmes first popped onto our radar in Rob Harris' Rich Mahogany - a video we have talked about before and have made clear how much we love.

It was when we heard he was behind the fledging Alltimers label that it sparked our interest and now we see them return in-store for another season, and trust us, it was worth the wait.

The Canadian native started the label back in 2013 and instantly made his mark amongst the slew of upstarts that appeared at the time. Alltimers Skateboards are the company we all wanted but never thought would happen, a company that feels riddled with inside jokes and tongue in cheek graphics that couldn't be further from the mass produced logo boards in 8 colours that has become standard for any company over the age of 10.

What is probably the key to Alltimers Skateboards success is that the references drawn upon are so diverse that there is undeniably at least one skateboard they have made that belongs on your wall and feels like the board you've always wanted. This season for example we see Sir David Attenborough feature on one of the decks, laid up by graphic master Bosco Picard. Whilst Sir David is undoubtedly world famous this deck most definitely pulls a string for us Brits.

Alongside the decks is a broad but considered collection of apparel that boasts logo-spoofs, colours that aren't just white and black and a couple of straight up bootlegs to top it all.

The Alltimers Skateboards Winter '17 collection is available in-store and online now.

And yes we do have that Chicken Nugget board...

  • Nike Air More Uptempo 96 Knicks

The Nike Air More Uptempo 96 Knicks is available with us now.

In the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals legendary baller Scotty Pippen produced an infamous dunk over Knicks player Patrick Ewing at the Chicago Stadium, and now we see this honoured by Swoosh camp with the Nike Air More Uptempo 96 Knicks.

Scottie Pippen and the Air More Uptempo go hand in hand, prior to receiving his own signature shoe for the Swoosh he regularly repped this killer silhoutte on the court, and the style became synonymous with his career. The sneaker transitioned off the court with the graffiti styled 'AIR' overlays making it the perfect street sneaker of the 90's, it wasn't just basketball players wearing the shoe but a whole generation of Nike fans.

  • Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Ishod Wair 'Perfect Pink'

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Ishod Wair 'Perfect Pink' is available online now.

For the Winter season we see Nike SB continue their updated silhouette with Ishod Wair with the introduction of this 'Perfect Pink' colourway. We aren't exactly sure what out idea of a perfect pink is so we're just going to agree with Nike on this one and say that this is definitely a perfect pink if there ever was one.

One of our favourite details we've seen Nike SB roll out previously on the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Ishod Wair silhouette and some others too is the double layered Swoosh, utilised here to offer some subtle contrast to the 'Flat Silver' upper with a Perfect Pink Swoosh underlay.
