Levi's
Levi Strauss & Co was founded in San Francisco, California all the way back in 1853.
Originally trading as a fabric wholesaler, Levi Strauss went into business with Jacob Davis (a tailor and customer of Levi's wholesale fabric business) in 1873 when the pair patented the now infamous Levi's strengthening copper rivets and produced the first pairs of Levi's blue denim jeans.
