Yardsale Summer '16

Yardsale is London's newest and most exciting skateboard brand that are going from strength to strength.

Continuing from their previous offerings that were incredibly popular in-store we get a fresh batch of soft goods for the summer season, all oozing the usual Yardsale mix of 80's nostalgia executed in a Miami sunset colour palette.

The 1/4 zip sweatshirt stands as the back bone of Yardsale, both for its nod to 90's sportswear that runs throughout the brand and also the fact that they're incredibly comfortable to skate in.

We see the 1/4 zip in two new constructions with one featuring a 2-tone colour block and Yardsale logo below the zip as in previous collections. The second piece offers a contrast collar with Yardsale's latest 'Floral' emblem emblazoned on the left side breast.

It's good to see such a young brand rapidly progress their silhouettes with the addition of the 'Palm Polo', a hybrid polo shirt / sweatshirt that offers a classic polo collar and 3-button closure but is elsewhere executed as a sweatshirt with a ribbed waistline and cuffs. The brands tropical Palm logo features under the button closure in a vibey blue/pink and white colour palette.

Finishing off the heavier pieces is the 'Script' sweatshirt, possibly the most 80's piece to grace our store a light blue cotton sweatshirt is adorned with the Yardsale 'Script' logo that is reminiscent of the VHS movie covers from any film made pre 1989-and of course the logo is executed in a vibrant pink with a contrast white drop shadow.

Closing the collection is a super clean Long sleeve T-shirt in white featuring Yardsale's logo graphic that is a take on the sunset which heavily features in the brands Hi-8 videos and generally sums up what that young brand is about visually.

Yardsale's collection of soft goods is available in-store at number 14 and online now.
