We were really stoked on Wednesday when the Witchcraft and Lovenskate guys came into the store to say "Hi". They were due to skate Kings as part of their Evil vs Good tour. First release of the Witchcraft boards sold out at Consortium within a couple of weeks.

If you pick up a copy of the August issue of Sidewalk Magazine you'll find a feature on Consortium. The feature gives a little of our history since opening way back in 1993.

Our good friend Polly jumped in at the last minute and took some photos of the shop for the feature. Many were unused and we thought it would be fun to show a few more on our blog. The shop is very much a work in progress and the photos were taken on a deadline so things aren't perfect, however we think they'll give you an idea of who we are and the environment that we work in.

Polly is very creative and has worked with a number of celebrities. Check out more of Polly's work here!

Welcome to our new blog. We hope it will give you a little insight into our world and tempt you to come and visit us on a regular basis.

As well as talking about the general day to day goings on in Consortium world, we'll be covering new products as they launch, sharing local skateboard scene shenanigans, reporting on gigs, art and events, and generally putting out there the things that interest us.

It's not going to be very well polished (well not to start with at least), our writing skills need to develop and our photography skills leave a lot to be desired. However we think the content's interesting enough to share and hope you do to.
