Converse Jack Purcell

John Edward "Jack " Purcell was a renowned player both on and off the court, and when he retired from badminton in 1945 Jack Purcell remained unbeaten world champion for thirteen years.
The Jack Purcell signature badminton shoe was launched in 1935, Jack designed a shoe which carries his signature smile across the toe, and offered the badminton player protection and support whilst playing the game.
In modern times the Converse Jack Purcell is desirable more for it's vintage aesthetics than it's outdated technology. The Jack Purcell is produced in seasonal fabrications & colourways, and is only available from select boutique stores.
