Armor-Lux

In 1938 Swiss German entrepreneur Walter Hubacher started manufacturing high quality under garments with the brand name Armor lux.
Now famous for their Breton stripe, a design that dates back to1858 where an act in France introduced the stripes as the uniform for all French navy seaman.
Over the years their nautically inspired garments have been worn by the likes of James Dean, Andy Worhol and Pablo Picasso.
75 years on Armor lux is still based in Brittany and are the biggest buyer of organic cotton yarns in France.
