After the sell out success of the first run of Witchcraft skateboard decks, we’re waiting for the arrival of the Second Coming series with baited breath.
As with the first run, each of the four board graphics in the Second Coming series is limited to 100 boards and there won’t be any sneaky re-runs.
This time around the board sizes run from 8.125″ all the way up to 8.75″! The 8.125″ graphic was designed by French and has been named ‘The Shrine’, next up is an 8.25″ by Paul Parker titled ‘Banfield’, then ‘Apocolyptic Visions’ an 8.5″ by Matt Glover, and last but by no means least Witchcraft have gone balls out and are offering an 8.75″ they’ve called it ‘Summon The Legions’ and the graphic was created by Murdoch Stafford.
All of the boards should be with us in time for a pre-Halloween release but are currently being offered on our website on a pre-order basis. All pre-orders will be shipped as soon as we receive the boards, so get in early as once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Penfield Autumn Winter 2010 collection is now live on the site. As well as the full men's Penfield collection, we've also added some women's Penfield jackets and unisex accessories.
Local boy done good, Benny Fairfax, turned pro after coming runner up to Mike Mo Capaldi at the 2009 Battle At The Berrics. Last year Benny knocked out PJ Ladd in the semi finals to take his place in the final.
So this year we've all been eagerly anticipating the re-match between Benny and PJ in the second round of 2010 Battle At The Berrics which went live yesterday. BENNY FAIRFAX vs PJ LADD

This week we've received some great shoes and clothing from Vans.
Amongst our favourites are these Era Pros from the Vans Core Footwear Pro Classics Collection.
The Era Pro takes the silhouette of the Vans Era but is made more skate tuff. Autumn 2010 is the first season that the Era Pro has been included in-line although the Era Pro has previously made an appearance 'in some form' in both Vans Syndicate and Vans Legends product capsules.
So the Era Pro has been given a 'skate tuff update' but what are the differences? Well, Vans have upgraded the upper materials, added a reinforced Duracap toe bumper, introduced a soft terrycloth lining, as well as a removable PU sockliner.
How can you tell the difference between an Era and an Era Pro? The tell tale signs are - subtle Duracap branding on the instep of the sidewall, Pro Classics branding on the footbed of the removable cushioned PU sockliner, and Pro branding on the reverse of Vans label tab.

If you pick up a copy of the August issue of Sidewalk Magazine you'll find a feature on Consortium. The feature gives a little of our history since opening way back in 1993.
Our good friend Polly jumped in at the last minute and took some photos of the shop for the feature. Many were unused and we thought it would be fun to show a few more on our blog. The shop is very much a work in progress and the photos were taken on a deadline so things aren't perfect, however we think they'll give you an idea of who we are and the environment that we work in.

Welcome to our new blog. We hope it will give you a little insight into our world and tempt you to come and visit us on a regular basis.
As well as talking about the general day to day goings on in Consortium world, we'll be covering new products as they launch, sharing local skateboard scene shenanigans, reporting on gigs, art and events, and generally putting out there the things that interest us.
It's not going to be very well polished (well not to start with at least), our writing skills need to develop and our photography skills leave a lot to be desired. However we think the content's interesting enough to share and hope you do to.
