Pendleton Woolen Mills is a family owned & run business based in Portland, Oregon, USA that is over 150 years old and steeped in history. Their iconic blankets are embedded in Native American culture, where they're given a Pendleton blanket when they are born and are used in various ceremonies throughout a Native American's life. Back in the 1960's Pendleton shirts were embraced by Californian surfers, worn unbuttoned as an over shirt with a t-shirt & chinos, in fact The Beach Boys were originally named The Pendletones in reference to Pendleton shirts.
