The adidas EQT line began in the early 90's, a time when the now sportswear giants were on the back-foot and needed innovation. From an imperative need to find new direction, to an oversaturation of style over substance in the performance footwear industry the adidas Equipment line was born. The EQT achieved exponential success due to its non-contrived ethos of "everything that is essential, nothing that is not", just pure and simple beautiful functional footwear.
