  • Nike SB Contest Legends

From 8am start times to coming out net-negative after a win, Elissa Steamer, Eric Koston, Lance Mountain and Paul Rodriguez look back at contests over the years - watch the Contest Legends video from Nike SB below!

Lance Mountain, Elissa Steamer, Paul Rodriguez, and Eric Koston aren’t just skateboarding’s elite, they’ve excelled at the highest level of competition. It’s about power, it’s about potential, and every showdown champions those who rise to the occasion and skateboarding as a whole.

In between the heats, contests are about community—everyone coming together in one place to level up and take skateboarding’s temperature. As much as we remember the NBDs, the flawless runs, and epic battles, lasting memories and friendships are made off the course. New places, new faces, new tricks, new styles, even when the pressure’s on, every competition celebrates skateboarding’s spirit. It’s a time for everyone to be laser-focused on the moment and celebrate the soul of skating as much as its talent.

Unlike any other sport, skateboarding elevates the victors and the entire community with every competition. As we approach history in Tokyo, Japan, some of skateboarding’s biggest contest legends break down how competition exists as a personal battle and platform for the culture. In the end, there can only be one winner for each event but with the world watching, there’s a singular goal: spreading the stoke.

  • Nike SB Blazer Low GT and Nike SB Blazer Zoom Mid

Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT and Nike SB Blazer Zoom Mid are available online with us now.

First designed in 1973 as a basketball shoe, the Nike Blazer was adopted by skaters in the 90s when they realised they were ideal for Skateboarding. In 2005, Lance Mountain collaborated with Nike to add in a padded tongue and Air Insole, making the Nike Blazer the Nike SB Blazer, recognising the silhouette as a skateboarding shoe. The Nike SB Blazer has since maintained its spot as a go-to skate shoe, with its breathability, padded support and durable designs.

The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT is composed of an off white, light thistle suede upper with gold leather wrap around swooshes. Both side panels have small perforated stars which aid breathability on and off the board. Subtle stitch detailing also adds an extra decorative element to the simple silhouette. The back of the shoe sees a white leather heel moustache, with club gold Nike branding. Flat white laces lay over a sewn-in padded white tongue keeping the tongue in place even when putting the shoes to the test on the board. Inside, a padded perforated leather collar gives way to a blue inner sole. The Nike SB Zoom Blazer has a Zoom Air midsole, which when combined with a vulcanised rubber sole provides everything you look for in a skate shoe. The Nike SB blazer is designed to keep you comfortable but bolstered on and off the board.

Formed of an off white suede, the Nike SB Blazer Zoom Mid is designed with blue wrap around swooshes. Each side panel has triple perforations and stitching that adds a subtle design element which cuts through the swoosh in a geometric fashion. The Blazer has a mid-top heel moustache with Nike branded embroidery in blue that matches the swooshes. At the front of the shoe, flat white laces lay over a white mesh tongue with further Nike SB branding in blue. Inside, the collar is fully padded in breathable mesh, giving your ankle ample support on the board. The foam insole gives way to a Nike SB Zoom Air unit cased in a rubberised outer sole with herringbone detailing. Since becoming a skate shoe in 2005, the Blazer has maintained its spot as an all-round shoe that is great for skating, but also easy to wear all day.

Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT and Nike SB Blazer Zoom Mid are available online with us now.

  • Nike SB x Kevin Bradley 'Kevin and Hell Pack'

Nike SB x Kevin Bradley 'Kevin and Hell Pack' releasing with us online Saturday 30th May at 8am BST.

After four years with Nike SB, Kevin Bradley has worked with Nike's design team to create the upcoming "Kevin and Hell Pack", his debut to the Orange Label. Bradley has opted for heaven and hell versions of his favourite shoe to skateboard in, the Nike SB Blazer. The heavenly  Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low AC XT ISO, is wrapped in fluffy cloud swooshes and the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid ISO is covered in a red velvet which is hellishly plush. Hailing from Los Angeles, Kevin Bradley is known for his laid back nonchalant skate style and his love of dogs.

Bradley’s Nike SB Blazer Low AC XT ISO is constructed with a soft sky blue suede upper, a white toe box and black toe cap. Fluffy white cloud swooshes wrap around to a white leather heel moustache embroidered with a tonal blue water droplet. "I really like the rain, my grandma really liked the rain, so I wanted to make it look like a cloud and they came out pretty hard."

The Blazer Low AC XT is designed with velcro straps offering an easy, personalised fit whilst reminding you of heavenly innocent days when even shoelaces were too complicated. “I like the velcro straps, sometimes I’m really lazy and I don’t like to tie my shoes. Sometimes I don’t even strap the velcro! You gotta be comfy.”

The straps lay over a padded white tongue which, in classic Nike SB blazer fashion, is attached internally with elasticated sides. Not only are these shoes easy to velcro on, there will be little movement in the tongue, keeping the skate shoes securely in place when you're on the board. The tongue also has Nike KB branding that can be found on all items in the "Kevin and Hell pack", a play on the SB logo. A black padded collar gives way to an insole covered in blue and white cloud graphics. The Blazer Low AC XT has been designed with white foxing and blue herringbone outer sole, aiding grip and durability.

The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid ISO has an upper and toe box constructed of red velvet, and black swooshes, the lavish materials and deep colours are inspired by the Sith Lord, Darth Maul. "Darth Maul is my favourite Star Wars character. So I always wanted to do a red and black shoe, like Darth Maul".

A black mesh heel moustache is embroidered with the yellow and red Iris and deep black Pupil of the Sith eye. Flat black laces lie on a mesh padded black tongue, again with Nike KB branding and elasticated attachments.

Inside a leather padded collar sits above a foam inner sole, which covered in a black tattoo style graphics, is another shout to Kevin's favourite Star Wars character. The padded inner sole, zoom technology keeps the shoe comfortable whilst a grippy vulcanised outsole provides great traction helping you skate right up to the gates of hell.

Alongside the skate shoes, the pack also comes with clothes, a tee, shorts and a shirt, all inspired by his dogs, who you can follow on Instagram...

The trio of clothes includes an Oracle Aqua Nike SB x Kevin Bradley Shirt designed with Dri-Fit technology, remixing a classic shirt with 90s stripes. This 100% cotton shirt will keep you cool all summer. NIKE SB X KEVIN BRADLEY SHIRT 'KEVIN AND HELL PACK' (ORACLE AQUA)

Bradley has put his twist on classic cargo shorts with an all-over dog embroidery. Made with Dri-Fit technology in stretchy woven fabric and a mesh pocket to securely keep your phone in place the Nike SB x Kevin Bradley Cargo Shorts are perfect for skating in.

This loose fit Nike SB x Kevin Bradley T-Shirt matches the shorts perfectly, made of 100% cotton and embroidered with a dog, again a little nod to Bradley's four-legged friends. A patch on the back has Nike KB branding.

  • Nike SB x Ben & Jerry’s Dunk Low Pro ‘Chunky Dunky’

Nike SB x Ben & Jerry’s Dunk Low Pro ‘Chunky Dunky’ is releasing on Saturday 23rd May 2020 via Instagram raffle.

2020 has been an exciting year for Nike SB Dunks, and the latest collaboration for Nike SB is with Vermont's very own grassroots ice cream company, Ben & Jerry's. Built from a five-dollar course on how to make ice cream, Ben & Jerry's have created a company which not only gives away free scoops on their birthday, but champions great causes. The Ben & Jerry's Foundation was established in 1985, and since then have been tackling climate change, boosting fair trade and standing for a number of social causes. Alike to Nike SB their core values are having fun whilst doing good.

Nike's skateboarding division has always worked on collaborations using the Dunk's classic skate shoe silhouette, allowing their partner brands and friends to use the shoe as a blank canvas to create their own designs that encompass who they are. To represent their own euphoric style, Ben & Jerry's have taken directly from their own slogan “If it’s not fun why do it?” and drawn inspiration from the Chunky Monkey ice cream packaging to create the 'Chunky Dunky'.  The blue skies, rolling scenery and cow print encapsulates a pint of ice-cream you would want on a sunny day hanging out with the hippy Vermont ice cream makers.

The Dunks lagoon pulse leather upper and perforated toe box are overlayed with faux cow, and wrapped in a drippy university golden swoosh. A black heel moustache, with an embroidered Nike in the classic Ben & Jerry's font, sits over a sky blue panel with stitched clouds. From behind, you get a glimpse of all materials, textures, embroidery and patterns.

The shoe is complimented with white lacing, a faux cow tongue, and boasts a woven label that has Nike SB branding and 'Chunky Dunky' embroidery. On the reverse, it details Ben & Jerry’s branding and their slogan "If it’s not fun why do it?". With a padded collar, the inside is covered in rainbow tie-dye, nodding to Ben & Jerry's hippy roots.  The 'Chunky Dunky' has a full-length EVA white midsole, a Nike Zoom Air unit in the heel and a green rubber outsole, with a pivot circle for multi-directional traction and durability.

Nike SB x Ben & Jerry’s Dunk Low Pro ‘Chunky Dunky’ is releasing on Saturday 23rd May 2020 via Instagram raffle.
